Off To Play Theatre Critic: Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland

Heading off to London then Scotland for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival of Theatre.  This has been on my list of things to do before I die.  So I guess going brings me one more happy step towards the inevitable.  Not that I'm looking forward to or planning on making it to death any time soon but I do want to make sure I enjoy the trip.

As a child, I really enjoyed acting and doing plays.  However, when I discovered there was more money in math than in acting I quit and changed my focus.  This was probably a good thing for culture but I can't help but wonder what my life would have been like had I stuck with it.

While at University at Warwick, England for my "year abroad" in college, I was meant to study economics and math. I took one class on number theory and then managed to get myself into the Theatre Criticism Department as a first year.  It was amazing.  Ever since, I have fancied myself a theatre critic without much talent or an audience.

TRADING:
Travel doesn't make me change my opinions on US interest rates and coming inflation data.
I have a big position (for me anyway) in September 106 puts (Bond futures currently trading right at 106) on the ten year treasuries.  Given how difficult it's mean to be to travel with a computer I won't be bringing mine.   I will have to sit with this position while away and hope for a big spike in long term US interest rates by the time I get back.
