Bronx Prep Fundraiser Event at Housing Works Bookstore

Dear Friends: 

I don't know if I told you I was teaching at a school in the Bronx last semester but I was.  Now I am on the Bronx Prep Council, a group dedicated to advancing the goals of the Bronx Preparatory Charter School, and I am writing to invite you to our fundraising event on May 11^th in Soho at the Housing Works Used Books Cafe. Bronx Prep is a wonderful and groundbreaking college prep charter school that serves middle and high school students.  This is a particularly exciting time for the school since next year it will become the first charter school in NYC to graduate a high school senior class.

All ticket sales/donations from the event will go directly towards Bronx Prep’s college program.  I hope you can attend this event to learn more about the school and to help endow its vitally important college program.  It will be a fun evening!
